Family wellness & nourishing recipes.🤎

One of the simplest ways we can support our family's health is by getting back into the kitchen & preparing more of our food from scratch—at home— where we know where our ingredients are sourced from.

“In a world where so much of what we eat comes packaged, processed & prepared for us already, cooking at home gives us the opportunity to know exactly what we're putting into our bodies & into the bodies of our children.”

Here you'll find some of my own family-friendly recipes, created with years of cooking knowledge, nourishment, simplicity, gluten free recipes for any kids with food intolerances & wholesome ingredients in mind. From healthy meals, slow yeasted breads—to healthier bakes, smoothies, juices, dips, condiments, jams & syrups—these are some recipes that I make & enjoy with my own family.

I love using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible & making the most of what nature has to offer through seasonal produce & safe, responsible foraging. There's something really special about teaching our children where food comes from & getting them involved in going to the sources, involvement in the kitchen & helping them develop a positive relationship with real food from an early age.

Family wellness doesn't have to mean perfection or completely changing your lifestyle overnight. Sometimes it's simply choosing to make a homemade meal instead of reaching for a ready meal a few times a week—to then gradually building to less & less pre-made meals, baking something yourself, adding more colourful whole foods to your plate or swapping highly processed ingredients for something more natural.

Small choices made consistently can become part of a healthier family lifestyle. 🤎

My hope is that this page & recipes inspire you to slow down, get creative in the kitchen & discover that healthy, wholesome family food can be simple, delicious & enjoyable for everyone.
